Active Against ALS Celebrates
​our 15-Year Anniversary

​Please join us for our 15 -year anniversary event, Uncork a Cure for ALS. Enjoy an evening of food, drink, and entertainment while supporting our goal of raising $150,000 for research. We look forward to celebrating our progress and appreciation of community support as we continue to raise funds, hope, and awareness of ALS.

Admission is $100 per person until September 28th. After September 28th and at the door, admission is $120.

ANNUAL BOARD MEETING UPDATE

Our annual meeting was held on November 7, 2022. We heard updates from our board members as well as from members of our Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Tiziana Petroziello, our 2022 recipient of the Robert F. Schoeni Award for Research, gave a short presentation on her proposed work, Determining the functional consequences of the chimeric YAF2-RYBP fusion gene in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. In celebration of the 15th Anniversary of Active Against ALS, please help us make our 12th Annual Rivalry Ride the most successful ride yet! Join us on October 15, 2023 for the Annual Rivalry Bike Ride between Spartan Stadium in East Lansing and the Big House in Ann Arbor. We will transport riders and their bicycles from Ann Arbor to East Lansing to ride a metric century back to Michigan Stadium. Lunch will be provided at the halfway point in Stockbridge, Michigan. 

Riders can participate in our HALF STADIUM RIDE and we will transport riders and their bicycles from Ann Arbor to Stockbridge to start the half metric century ride back to the Big House. 

We would love for you to ride with us from East Lansing to Ann Arbor or Stockbridge to Ann Arbor. However, if you are unable to join us we encourage you to consider creating your own ride or making a donation! You can ride any day, any time, any place, even at home on a stationary bike, and still help us raise funds for ALS Research.

  • Date: Sunday, October 15, 2023 - 7:30am from Sparty Statue
  • Bus will leave Ann Arbor at 6:30am from Pioneer High School
Fees:
  • $80: includes rider and bike transportation to East Lansing, lunch, sag wagon support and a t-shirt
  • $60: includes rider and bike transportation to Stockbridge, sag wagon support and a t-shirt
  • $40: includes sag wagon support and a t-shirt
  • $35: includes a t-shirt (create your own ride)
