CHALK YOUR WALK
Join us in the fun of chalking your walk and share messages about ALS. Send a picture of your chalked walk to us by email ([email protected]) or post your photo on social media using the hashtag #chalkyourwalkforals. 
EXPLORE LITTLE FREE LIBRARIES 
Be on the hunt for little free libraries around Ann Arbor, Saline, Ypsilanti and Dexter to look for books we have added about ALS, Lou Gehrig's life and baseball career, as well as, stories written by families who have lived with ALS. 

Active Against ALS will also be out and about in Chelsea and Saline helping educate our community about ALS. Please visit our ALS displays at the Chelsea District Library and Ann Arbor Libraries. 
JOIN US FOR AN ALS AWARENESS EVENT!
Join us at The Milkshake Factory on Tuesday, May 13th between 4:00pm-9:30pm. A portion of proceeds will go towards Active Against ALS. Have a milkshake and help us raise funds! Visit downtown Ann Arbor during the month of May to see the ALS ribbons on Main Street.

At the May 10, 2018 City Council meeting, Ann Arbor Mayor, Christopher Taylor, passed this proclamation: 

"I do hereby proclaim May 10, 2018 as ALS Awareness Day and recognize the importance of increasing public awareness of this disease and encouraging residents of all ages to be informed, involved and active."

Over 6,000 people are diagnosed with ALS annually. With your support, Active Against ALS has awarded over $1,100,000 towards research since our founding in 2008, but until there is a cure, we need to do more. 

As we celebrate our 15th anniversary year, we hope that you will join us in our efforts. We ask that you make a gift today to stop a disease that knows no racial, ethnic or socioeconomic boundaries.
